Located in the northeastern lower peninsula of Michigan in Alcona County, with frontage on beautiful Lake Huron. Our township encompasses the city of Harrisville and contains 30.33 square miles of land. The population, based on the 2010 US Census, is 1,348 with the entire county totaling 10,942 residents. Harrisville Township was established in 1859.
